VanHoose: Cars, guns and more barbecue
There were many good rock shows in Athens last weekend, but I didn't make it to any of them. Instead, I decided at noon Friday to head to the NASCAR races in Bristol, Tenn., for a three-day stand.

Clint Sorrells has enjoyed barbecuing all his life, and for years has served as the designated caterer for all his family gatherings. He's been doing it so long and so well that the 68-year-old's son, Tim Sorrells, calls him a "specialist."
For photographer, barbecue is a passion
